Finnish home sleep apnea testing innovation receives well deserved attention at World Sleep 2022 in Rome

Nukute’s technology and home sleep apnea testing (HSAT) solution received serious interest from the global community of sleep physicians and other experts in the field of sleep medicine. The World Sleep 2022 conference held in Rome March 11-16 was the 16th iteration of the World Sleep Congress arranged annually by the Minnesota-based World Sleep Society.

Nukute had a strong presence at the congress both as an exhibitor and as a presenter of a scientific poster and an oral abstract "System validation study for novel wearable sleep apnea screening device", with research parties from Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin, SOS Oxygène, Tampere University, Tampere University Hospital, University of Oulu, and Oulu University Hospital.

With almost one billion people in the world suffering from sleep apnea, 80-90% of those undiagnosed, there is a rapidly growing need for clinically validated, cost-efficient solutions for sleep apnea testing.
